Low Fat Diet Recipe : Steam Tofu

Ingredients:

  • 2 pieces soft water tofu

  • 1 tsp finely chopped red chili

  • 2 tbsp of shallot, chopped

  • 1 tsp spring onion, chopped

  • 1 tsp of garlic

  • 1 tsp of light soy sauce

  • 1 tsp of oyster sauce

  • 1 tsp of sesame oil

 

Preparation:

Wash and drain tofu.

Steam tofu in boiled water for 3 minutes.

In a non-stick pan, fry shallot and garlic till golden brown and set a side.

In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce and sesame oil together.

Pour sauce mixture onto steamed tofu and sprinkle fry garlic, shallot, spring onion and chili on top. Serve hot.
